On July 16, the About paragraph opened with Justin’s company-building history. By August 15, it opened with a new sentence: “I’m a writer and entrepreneur.” The rest of the paragraph stayed the same.
The captures bound the visible edit to a 30-day interval. They do not establish the exact release time, why Justin added the sentence or whether the wording changed reader behavior. His July essay supplies adjacent context, not an explanation of this edit.
Name the person before presenting the résumé.
Our reading: the new opening makes Justin’s present identity legible before the proof of what he built. The simultaneous page-title edit also shifts the frame from a publication name to the person behind it. Justin has not publicly connected the website edit to this interpretation.
The paragraph began with two billion-dollar companies, an executive exit and a $15M one-person business.
